Butterfinger Pancakes in Seoul

Absolutely one of my favorite breakfast places in the world. Perfect American breakfast. You get a ton of food, but it is fairly expensive compared to the US (which was fine and worth it to me). Only downside was that they stopped serving potted coffee when I went in, and I could only order each cup one at a time, which made it even more expensive. Service was good, the restaurant was clean, and my husband and I were very pleased.

24 500 won for all this. Good American style bruch for sure.

I’ve tried delicious pancakes and shakes from here. But this time I decided to try the eggs Benedict. First thing I see is a small hair on the side of the plate. I took it off and ignored it since it wasn’t on the food. It’s supposed to come with ”English muffins”, but it was just regular boring white bread. As I’m eating all I can think about is how obnoxiously savory the food is. I like my flavors but damn I felt sick after eating one third of the food. My stomach was turning. Then to make matters worse I found myself eating and chewing plastic! I was definitely not able to keep eating after that. This happened at the small underground location in jamsil. Worst 20 bucks I have spent!!

Great food but high prices (~25000 per meal). True to American style diners. Unfortunately they were out of coffee when we visited though.

High prices and everything except the pancakes have been a solid disappointment.

I've come here several times for brunch (it's open really early) but I get more and more disappointed by how mediocre the dishes are. Definitely draws in the international crowd, but for 20 bucks? This French toast is not cutting it. I think the potato wedges were the most memorable. Thank you, next!

Pancakes lover need to go there

Overpriced but I expected it would be. From what people said about this place I expected more, so it was little bit of a let down. The food overall was okay and the service just acceptable. I left a bit unsatisfied, however I did enjoy the french toast.

THE PANCAKES ARE SO SOFT AND FLUFFY. If you wanna try it, get the original one with the "butter that doesn't taste like butter" It's the best, guaranteed

Night meals are ok but would be the last place to go.

This place is not worth the visit. It’s very overpriced for what you get, granted it is a tourist spot, but it was over $10,000 won for a peppermint tea! Most drinks around that price too. If you’re really craving an American breakfast this might satisfy your needs but don’t use high hopes as the food was very sub par.

3.5 star place. Only place in Gang Nam which Serve Original American Style Breakfast.

Great pancakes and good food.Only 3 stars because of bad coffee(taste and availability) and our waiter was having a bad day.But worth a visit if you miss tastey pancakes.

I had the fresco burger and it was just too much. BBQ sauce and mayo melded together to make a sloppy sandwich. The bacon was under cooked for me. My husband had a burger with BBQ sauce and likes it ok. My son had French toast and enjoyed that as well. The staff was very friendly and we got right in. Next time I'll get breakfast food.

As far as pancakes go, this is one of the better ones in Seoul.

It is usually great in Jeongja, but when I went to this location, my pancakes were burned when they were served. When I asked to exchange them (without touching them) they said there are no returns or exchanges and I have to pay for new ones. Butterfingers is usually great, but I thought this was odd.Edit-the location I went to was in Gangnam, outside of exit 10

Incredible food for around $13 a plate. Not super easy to find and I would highly recommend the valet parking right outside the door for 2000KRW.

Always a staple when I'm in Seoul. By far the best American style breakfast place in town!

Less design than the Gangnam Station exit 10 branch--also, staff seemed overworked. Granted was there at noon on a Friday. Gip is an awesome cashier though!!

The waffles are really tasty. It worth a try.

My husband and I decided to pay this a visit one morning because we were up early and most places in Gangnam don't open till 10am. We also wanted some egg and sausage.We ordered the "Spilt Decision Plate" which came with pretty much everything they have on their hot breakfast menu. It was perfect for two people, just the right amount and the price is pretty good as well.Most of the drinks (hot and cold) comes with free refills so you could easily share this. I didn't think that was great value for money if you didn't get any refills.If you're looking for a decent American style breakfast this isn't bad but of course it's nothing compared to what you'll find in the west.

This place makes some great food in a fun environment with fast service. For any American that finds themself wanting a taste of home for breakfast, or just a good weekend brunch spot, the pancakes are spot on and the rest of the food doesn't disappoint.I recommend the Split Decision platter. For 25,000 Won it's pretty much every breakfast food you could want on a single plate. The honey vanilla butter over regular butter isn't a bad move either.Will have to make a second visit at some point to try the insane desert pancakes they have on offer on the back page of the menu... was far too full to even attempt to split it!

2nd visit at this cafe for breakfast. The last time my hub and I each ordered a breakfast set and were too full to finish them. This time, we ordered a split decision and a cheesy waffle. The split decision was pretty good, loved the toast in Korea, somehow they are fluffy and thick. The pancake was fluffy too. The waffle was too cheesy and salty, we should have ordered something swee, like a banana choco waffle instead. Bill came up to about 40+k won. Not exactly cheap and definitely there are other better breakfast options.

Pancakes were soooo delicious BUT the place was gross. Found two strands of hair from our food. The table was dirty- I think they were using dirty dishcloth. And what really grossed me out was... flies. There were at least 30 something flies all over (I actually counted them). Fly epidemic?! They were on the walls and benches everywhere! Never will I go back here. I do love their pancakes but Ill visit the original place.

Pricey, but a great western breakfast joint

Classic American breakfast food. Well prepared, good quality food, and lots of drink options, juices, smoothies and mimosas.

This place is really good but I feel it is over-rated. It's so popular and packed, but there are so many other options around. I think it is worth trying but I just can't deal with the crowd here. Very delicious pancakes.

They served me pancakes stuffed with not one, but TWO kinds of cheese. Americano was delicious and the service was excellent.

It took forever to get the food we ordered in addition to a long wait time. Food was good though. One of the descent real american diner type breakfast place in seoul. Their orange aid is really good.

I was there for the pancakes and it was delicious i ordered original pancakes and blueberry pancakes it was very good and they have valet parking 1h 3000 won

The decor needs renovation but the food is one of the best in town.
